Membership
The Boston Wagner Society is open to anyone who is interested in expanding their knowledge of Wagner’s enchanting and thought-provoking operas, his life, and his writings on music.
We are a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
Your membership fee is always a tax-deductible donation that goes directly to Boston Wagner Society and the providing of more events for our patrons.
Benefits of Membership
The Boston Wagner Society regularly invites scholars and authors to lecture and present audiovisual materials on various aspects of Wagner’s music, his librettos, and his life. Many events are free, especially for members.
In addition, the Society keeps its members up to date on concerts, performances, classes, lectures, and various other Wagnerian events presented by other organizations.
Members also receive a free subscription to the quarterly newsletter Wagneriana.
This publication contains articles on numerous aspects of Wagner’s music; reviews of current CDs, DVDs, videotapes, and live performances; a column on historical singers; and reports on various Wagner- related events.
We humbly ask that you consider donating an extra $ for our fees as we expand our organization. Your contribution to us helps us grow immensely and provide better services and programming.
Annual dues:
$65 for an individual
$95 for two people at the same address
$15 for students (with valid student ID)
